Lawyer in Triangl Zhenerason Yumaniter (Triangle Generation Humanitaire)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: provision of high-quality information, consulting and legal assistance services as part of a mobile brigade in the city of Cherkasy and the Cherkasy region. DUTIES Facilitate the provision of legal services (information, counseling and legal assistance) to beneficiaries through Legal Aid Centers, community centers, visits to settlements; Facilitate individual and group legal consultations in the office(s) and during mobile visits; Carrying out day-to-day case management and maintaining records of court cases and all related files in internal database, spreadsheets etc.;Ensuring timely referral if other protection needs/primary needs or risks are identified;Supporting and mobilizing beneficiary resources to ensure they could independently solve their legal problems; Providing support and direct legal assistance on issues that the beneficiaries cannot solve on their own; Providing contributions to analytical and advocacy documents (information notes, case studies, comparative analysis, breakdown of legislation and draft laws, etc.); Preparation and development of reports documents (weekly, monthly reports, reports and minutes of meetings on internal and public events); Support the organization of public events such as meetings, round tables, technical working groups and awareness raising sessions and participate in such events on behalf of TGH; Cooperation and communication with local authorities and state authorities of the relevant regions regarding the activities of TGH; Conducting advanced training in accordance with the requests of local authorities and state institutions; QUALIFICATIONS Higher legal education; Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken; Fluency in Ukrainian; EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Experience in similar roles in a humanitarian/rehabilitation context; Experience as a civil and administrative law attorney; Field experience working with displaced and/or vulnerable groups and communities; Knowledge of basic programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Proven concise skills and concise writing of reports; The ability to prioritize security-related tasks and complete reports before the established deadlines.
