Our customer is an Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure company, developing their next generation of AC and DC vehicle charging solutions. Together we’re on a mission to create a more reliable and emission-free mobility infrastructure. The AC wallbox and DC fast-charging product portfolio you will be supporting include legacy and next generation solutions covering multiple market segments, including residential, public, and industrial. 

As a result, we are looking for LAB electrician to join our team. Your roles and responsibilities will include managing the vehicle chargers while providing expertise in the field of high voltage electricity from initial wiring to final circuit testing.

Due to nature of the role remote work is not allowed .

Qualifications

Specialist knowledge and technical skills:

  • Electrical engineering basics: sound knowledge of electrical engineering, especially high-voltage technology.
  • Charging systems: Knowledge of the different types of charging systems and technologies (AC, DC, fast charging stations).
  • Battery technology: Understanding of battery technologies, in particular lithium-ion batteries and their management systems (BMS).
  • Safety regulations: knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations, such as VDE 100, VDE 0105-100, DIN EN 50110-1, DGUV regulation 3.
  • Test procedures: Experience with testing and measurement technology for the diagnosis and maintenance of high-voltage components.
  • Switching authorization: Authorization and experience in switching high-voltage systems.

Practical experience:

  • Installation work: Ability to professionally install charging infrastructure.
  • Maintenance and servicing: Experienced in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of charging systems and high-voltage systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Skills in systematic troubleshooting and the use of diagnostic tools.

Occupational safety:

  • Risk assessment: ability to carry out risk assessments and implement safety measures.
  • Protective equipment: Knowledge and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for working on high-voltage systems.
  • First aid: Knowledge of first aid, especially in dealing with electrical accidents.

Soft skills:

  • Teamwork: ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Communication skills: Effective communication with colleagues, supervisors and customers.
  • Problem solving skills: Ability to solve complex technical problems independently and as part of a team.
  • Documentation: Accurate and thorough documentation of work and tests.
