Junior Technical Writer in Ajax Systems

R&D, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA, is responsible for the development of devices at Ajax. Behind the success and ambitions of the company is a huge team of professionals. We are building expertise and are looking for a Junior Technical Writer to join our team.

Tasks:

• Development of technical texts in Ukrainian and English for printed device instructions;
• Development of concepts for certification stickers for devices;
• Adaptation and translation of texts from English to other foreign languages (Romano-Germanic and Slavic) languages ​​with the help of appropriate software;
• Editing and proofreading of instructions, updating the information provided in the texts of the instructions;
• Compilation of technical specifications and design of edits for the designer ;
• Reading the final layouts of the instructions in Figma;
• Active communication with the developers of Ajax devices to create the most useful and qualitatively adapted to the user requirements of the instructions.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

• Experience in writing technical texts or user instructions;
• Skills in working with tools: Google docs, Confluence, Jira, Figma (basic knowledge) development;
• Skills for processing technical documentation and gathering information in order to explain complex technical structures in a language understandable to the end user;
• Autonomy and good communication skills;
• Maximum attention to details and responsibility in the process of creating and/or editing texts;
• English language at a level not lower than Upper-Intermediate.
