We believe that any process that can be automated - should be automated!About the roleOur products are highly competitive on the market, we have a pipeline of customers who want to migrate to our products. Typically, such customers already have solutions running on similar systems, made by the other vendors. We have a number of migration tools that help automatically migrate configurations from external systems to our products, however, each customer landscape is unique and such migration process always requires comprehensive analysis, testing, verification etc. until proved complete.ResponsibilitiesWe’re seeking a Technical QA Engineer to join our Migration Tools team. The migration process typically means exporting the current configuration to an XML and transforming and creating a new XML that will be consumed by our systems. Such a process requires accurate and precise reconciliation between input and output configurations, we need to make sure that all workflows were properly set up in the new configuration, number of jobs remains the same, schedules are correctly exported, integrations are all set, naming conventions followed etc.Such verification requires a combination of manual and semi-technical testing. We expect you to have a technical background, be able to develop verification scripts and queries, understand how data structures and values are transformed, mapped, and recalculated, and verify the correctness of the configuration transformation before it is deemployed to the environment.
