Junior/Strong Junior Manual QA (Backend) in Ajax Systems

Ajax Systems is a developer and manufacturer of Ajax security systems with smart home capabilities. These are more than 130 devices, mobile and desktop applications, server infrastructure. The Ajax line includes a control center with its own RTOS (OSMalevich), motion sensors, opening sensors, flood protection and fire sensors, street and home sirens, an alarm button with a device control function, smart wall sockets. In 2023, we transformed the Ajax system. Its center becomes the unhappiness, the open space. Space is a virtual environment for adding devices (surveillance cameras, security and automation devices) and managing them. The space concept makes it possible to flexibly assemble the configuration of the Ajax system required by the client. The user-friendly application actually contains complex logic and a lot of dependencies. Necessary skills:—Experience in Manual QAbackend;—Perfect knowledge of client-server architecture; —Knowledge of monolithic microservice architecture;—Knowledge of API and its testing methods;—Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB);—Root cause analysis (RCA) of birth bugs, logging systems (Kibana);—Ability to qualitatively analyze requirements (static testing) and decompose them into test documentation .Tasks:—Working with various protocols: low-level binaries, APIs, and the gRPC framework;—Supporting programmers during development;—Being responsible for a separate part of the project. It will be a plus:—Understanding metrics and experience with DataDog, Grafana;—Performance testing (own scripts, Jmeter, and others );—Experience of working with Docker, AWS;—Understanding of embedded systems.
