Organize focus groups in communities at locations agreed with community representatives to meet with beneficiaries to assess needs and register beneficiaries in KOBO. Plan field trips to objects, form lists of addresses, draw up routes.

Your main duties in the position will be:

  • Cook letters of inquiry/answers (or any correspondence) to authorities, self-government bodies, other NGOs.
  • Coordinate with community representatives to identify needs for the restoration of damaged housing and collect data for other needs. Organize focus groups in communities at locations agreed with community representatives for meetings with beneficiaries to assess needs and register beneficiaries.
  • Communicate with beneficiaries - make preliminary arrangements for any meetings with them for evaluation, performance of work and signing of any documents provided for by the program.
  • Provide beneficiaries with all necessary information regarding the activities of the DRB, conduct explanatory work regarding the procedure and composition works, receive feedback and convey information about the state of affairs to the specialist of the housing restoration project and the head of the department, respond to complaints and feedback through the feedback mechanism.
  • Prepare and conclude contracts with beneficiaries.
  • Visit households with the specialist of the housing restoration project for the final verification of the completed works and scope. Participate in the preparation of Acts of completed works and their signing with the beneficiaries. Monitor the performance of work, collect feedback from the beneficiaries.
  • Work with documents in the office (assign unique numbers to contracts, transliterate contracts, scan, form a package of documents, sort copies, add to the archive and upload to SharePoint, sort electronic versions in the cloud).
  • Finish and archive documents upon completion of programs for sending to the main office office.
  • Conduct post-monitoring of the beneficiary's satisfaction with the results of the assistance provided via telephone.
  • Perform any other duties,learned by the Head of the Housing Rehabilitation Project Group and related to the achievement of the project goals - in coordination with the Housing Rehabilitation Project Manager, Administrative and Program Manager.

About you:

To be successful at for this position, we expect you to have at least 2 years of experience working in humanitarian organizations will be an advantage; in social sphere, construction sphere. In addition, we also expect the following from you:

Required

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in international humanitarian response non-governmental organizations, UN agencies, relevant ministries or local authorities. 
  • Knowledge of languages: Ukrainian is a must.
  • Experience in performing administrative and support tasks.
  • PC skills: Confident use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. style="font-style: normal; font-weight: 400">
  • Higher education in construction, architecture or other related fields would be an advantage.
  • English language skills would be an advantage.
  • Professional experience as an engineer/architect on construction projects and/or experience in administrative and other support tasks preferred.
  • Skills in GIS and AutoCAD software would be an advantage.

  • We offer: 

    Contract:3-month trial period, after which the contract may be extended depending on funding and quality of work.
