In 2024, the DRB will continue to significantly expand to implement emergency response in the social and legal protection, livelihoods, housing reconstruction and humanitarian disarmament and peacebuilding (humanitarian demining) sectors, providing direct support to responsible individuals and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and as well as their partners. DRB will continue to develop long-term solutions, adapting them to the changing situation.
DRB Team In Ukraine is currently looking for a highly qualified Juniorthmajorthishousing restoration project in the city of Slovyansk.< /b>
Your main responsibilities will be: p>
- Prepare letters of inquiry/answers (or any correspondence) to authorities, self-government bodies, other NGOs. Participating in the preparation of materials (technical part - BOQ) for support team tenders for the execution of works.
- Coordinating with community representatives to identify needs for the rehabilitation of damaged housing and gathering data on other needs. Organization of focus groups in communities at locations agreed with community representatives for meetings with beneficiaries to assess needs and register beneficiaries in KOBO.
- Plan field trips to objects, form lists of addresses, draw up routes, prepare TRF- form, get the necessary equipment in the security department. In the event of a business trip as a trip leader, follow the instructions of the Trip leader while driving.
- Communicate with the beneficiaries - pre-arrangements regarding any meetings with them for evaluation, performance of work, signing of any provided by the program documents.
- Register beneficiaries through KOBO forms, request and enter copies of all necessary documents into KOBO.
- Process, supplement, analyze and download data entered into KOBO for further generation of various types of reports at the request of the manager.
- Preparation and conclusion of contracts with beneficiaries.
- Visit to households with an engineer for final verification of completed works and volumes. Participate in the preparation of Acts of completed works and their signing with the beneficiaries. Monitoring the performance of work, collecting feedback from beneficiaries.
- Working with documents in the office (assigning unique numbers to contracts, transliterating contracts, scanning, forming a package of documents, sorting copies).
- Finalization and archiving of documents upon completion of programs for dispatchto the head office.
- Make all kinds of necessary reports at the request of the manager and specialist (engineer).
- Work with any modalities and assistance tools (Payment Tool and others) provided by DRB programs.
- Make referrals to adjacent departments when identifying needs in the appropriate direction.
- React through the response mechanism system to complaints and feedback.
- Conduct post-monitoring the beneficiary's satisfaction with the results of the assistance provided through telephone communication.
About you:
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably with work in the field of humanitarian response in international non-governmental organizations, relevant ministries or local authorities
In addition, we also expect:
- professional experience of working as an engineer/architect in construction projects and/or experience in performing administrative and other support tasks.
- Knowledge of languages: Ukrainian - mandatory, English - desirable.
- PC Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Skills in GIS and AutoCAD software a plus.
