The Danish Refugee Council (Danish Refugee Council, DRC) is the lead protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote long-term solutions for populations affected by displacement.
DRC has been working in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC has more than 700 employees in Ukraine and continues to implement humanitarian assistance in the sectors of protection, means to livelihood, shelter and humanitarian disarmament and peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) using direct intervention, support of civil society organizations (CSOs), as well as partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue to adapt its portfolio of durable solutions to the changing context.
DRC is currently seeking junior specialist of the emergency humanitarian response program(Emergency Assistant) for his activities in Kharkov.

General purpose of the role:
This role is country focused and ensures compliance with DRC procedures and guidelines in the country. This role contributes to the development of country strategies that translate into action plans and day-to-day tasks. The role provides support and/or technical direction to in-country operations while overseeing in-country activities.

To succeed as a Junior Specialist in the Humanitarian Emergency Response Program(Emergency Assistant)we expect you to have at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Salaries and conditions will be in accordance with the Conditions of Employment of National Staff of the Danish Refugee Council.
