Proliska public organization - a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that, since 2014, has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population affected by military operations in Ukraine.
Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support for the most vulnerable persons affected by military operations; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.
I. Requirements for the contestant:
- Higher education (legal, social work will be an advantage).
- Practical experience in social work, working with internally displaced and/or vulnerable groups and communities (will be an advantage) and/or providing legal assistance in individual cases.
- Free proficiency in the Ukrainian language.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region, including the territory close to the war zone, in the government-controlled territory of Ukraine.
- Experience in similar positions in a humanitarian context (will be an advantage).
- Ability to work closely with team members.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in developing and/or facilitating outreach and capacity building activities
- Executing responsibilities with a gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
II. Description of the services to be provided:
- Provision of social accompaniment and social support during evacuation, assistance at transit centers, train stations, in places of temporary stay of recipients of services. train stations, places of compact living, humanitarian aid distribution points, etc.).
- Informing beneficiaries about available social services, providing consultations on social issues.
- Determining medical, housing, legal, economic, educational, psychological, social and informational needs.
- Determining work goals, developing an Individual Plan with an indication of the necessary measures, responsiblex for their fulfillment by individuals and implementation deadlines.
- Assistance in obtaining the necessary services in accordance with the Individual Action Plan: provision of humanitarian aid, temporary housing, processing of temporary registration, renewal of documents, employment, passing the necessary medical examinations and treatment, receiving psychological assistance, legal consultations, processing of state payments, placement of children in institutions of the education system, etc.
- Assistance in the implementation of the rights of ambassador recipients, including including by representing, if necessary, their interests in state and non-state organizations, institutions, institutions.
- Clarification of rules, procedures and instructions, assistance in filling out relevant forms and collecting documents necessary to receive benefits, assistance and services.
- Involvement of community resources for the implementation of the adopted Individual plan of measures.
- Mobilization of personal resources recipients of the ambassador, resources of family members and relatives.
- Interaction with other organizations and specialists who provide services, redirecting as needed the recipients of the ambassador to receive services.
- Implementation of coordination of activities between institutions, organizations that provide assistance.
- Taking measures to preserve property and other valuables transferred to him/her or used by him/her in the process of providing services.
- Executing report writing and performing other ongoing tasks within the scope of providing services.
III. We offer the successful candidate:
- Contract until December 31, 2026 with the possibility of extension, which depends on further funding and personal work results
