DRB is currently looking for a highly qualified junior specialist in non-technical examination and awareness of the risks associated with explosive objects of the GNP) to join the team in m. Kharkiv.
in the implementation of awareness of the risks associated with VNP (IRVNP) by conducting live and online classes on IVRV for adults, adolescents and children.
Your main duties in the position will be: 400">Conduct face-to-face and online classes on IRVNP for adults, adolescents and children using standard and approved methodologies for disseminating IRVN informational materials in accordance with the instructions;Implement NTO processes by gathering evidence of pollution through document analysis, individual interviews and focus group discussions, and visual observation;Complete basic documentation from NTO/IRVNP and upload data and accompanying documentation to the information management system;Support the development of work plans and follow them accordingly;Maintain contact with the humanitarian demining department of the DRB, the mine and explosive ordnance relief department and other sectors of the DRB to ensure an integrated approach;Establish and maintain communication with community members to facilitate information exchange and assess community needs;As requested, assist with procurement, including development of necessary documentation.
About you:
To be successful on this position, we expect you to have at least 1 year of practical experience in a relevant field preferably in an NGO. In addition, we also expect the following from you:
Required
- Education: Graduate.
- Experience working with representatives of different communities and interacting with children and youth.
- Excellent oral communication skills and attention to detail.
- Languages: fluent Ukrainian, basic English.
- PC skills: basic computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Desirable
- Skills of public speaking/conducting trainings, presentations of work with the audience in offline and online formats.
- Confirmed experience of working with children, teenagers and adults.
- Skills and experience of conducting negotiations.
- Resistance to stress.
