Join SIX Index IT, the core team responsible for calculating all indices, including "SMI," within the Swiss exchange. Our international team, representing over 10 nationalities, is on a trajectory to evolve into a global index provider. The index platform we maintain is indispensable to SIX, intricately linked with the exchange, where neither can function independently.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding the operational service and stability of the SIX Index service.

What You Bring

• degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with hands-on of experience in software/information systems development
• proficiency in technologies such as Java, Spring WebFlux, and Websockets as well as solid understanding of back-end development, particularly API design principles (REST, GraphQL)
• familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies would be advantageous
• highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, being able to work both in a team and individually
• outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
