Holding a Junior Software Developer role, you will work in a small team of experienced Software Engineers and Data Scientists, who are responsible for data fetching, post-processing and data enrichment tasks in our company. At this position you will be involved in solving small tasks that require software engineering. Besides that you will also learn how to automate your solutions, how to build highly maintainable and scalable applications, that collect and process data effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Solving one-time problems, that require technical expertise (Python, SQL).
• Software development (Python, SQL) of small features on top of existing codebase.
• Involvement in data fetching processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Technical education in field that is related to Computer Science.
• Basic knowledge in Software engineering (information, data structures, databases, OOP, computer networks).
• Experience with Python and SQL (can be a result of studying, pet projects).
• Ability to write simple and clean code, following best practices of software development.
• Ability to find answers to simple questions and not scared to ask questions when could not find the answer.
• Willingness to learn from practice and to improve technical skills.
• Not afraid of routine tasks (executing scripts, aggregating outputs).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux / Unix and Bash.
• Experience with Git.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Python data libraries (pandas, numpy, ...).
• Experience with Data Science related projects.
• Had experience with massive datasets.
• Experience with Cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes.
