Location: Remote (Flexible Work Hours, but must overlap 4 hours daily with UTC-4)
Company: We are a small but innovative product company specializing in cigar factory management systems.
Role Overview: We are looking for a Junior React Native Developer to join our dynamic team. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and developing our mobile app. Initially built using Expo SDK 51 and Native Base, we aim to convert the app to Gluestack and implement new features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance our current React Native mobile app.
- Convert the existing app from Native Base to Gluestack.
- Implement new features using Expo SDK 51.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
Work closely with team members located in UTC-4 time zone, ensuring at least 4 hours of overlap daily.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in React Native, with hands-on experience using Expo.
- Familiarity with Native Base and Gluestack.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, Node.js, Express, Nginx, and PM2.
- Understanding of mobile app development and best practices.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and schedules.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in React Native/React development. WE DO NOT COUNT YOUR NOT COMMERCIAL EXPERIANCE
Previous experience in transitioning projects from one framework to another is a plus.
About Us: We develop comprehensive management systems for cigar factories, integrating modern technologies to streamline operations and enhance productivity. Our stack includes MongoDB, Node.js, Express, Nginx, PM2, and React Native, with our mobile apps initially based on Expo and Native Base. We are now transitioning to Gluestack to leverage its new features.
