Junior QA Tester in GeekGroup

Requirements:

• English language proficiency not lower than Upper Intermediate
• A desire to learn and develop in the IT field
• Communicability and the ability to work in a team
• Ability to work with documentation
• Ability to articulate one’s thoughts and clearly convey information to others
• Ability to set tasks and monitor their completion
• Understanding of the development processes for mobile and web applications

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
• Developing test cases for various functional and non-functional aspects of the application.
• Conducting manual and automated software testing. 
• Verifying the correctness of functionality at different stages of development. 
• Logging found bugs in the defect tracking system. 
• Preparing detailed bug reports with steps for reproduction. 
• Analyzing test results and interpreting them. 
• Collaborating with developers to discuss and resolve found defects. 
• Preparing and updating documentation on test results and testing methods. 
• Creating and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of the tested product.

Working conditions:

• Remote work
• Working hours from 15:00 to 00:00 Kyiv time (8:00am — 05:00pm EST)
