Junior QA Engineer (Software Tester) in Jubbox

Job description

Our client is a modern IT company engaged in the development of web and mobile solutions.
We are looking for an attentive and motivated Junior QA Engineer who wants to develop in the field of software testing and join a team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of web or mobile applications

• Creation and updating of test cases and checklists

• Fixation of found bugs in bug tracking systems (Jira, YouTrack, etc.)

• Verification of corrected defects

• Cooperation with the development and design team

• Analysis of product requirements before testing

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of software testing principles

• Understanding SDLC and STLC

• Experience with test documentation (checklists, test cases)

• Ability to work with tools: Jira / Trello / TestRail (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and working with browser DevTools will be a plus

• Analytical thinking, attention to detail

• Ability to clearly formulate your thoughts and describe errors

Will be a plus

• Experience in website or mobile testing applications

• Understanding client-server architecture

• Working with Postman or similar

• Basic knowledge of SQL
