Xpand Team is on the lookout for a passionate Junior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. Whether you prefer working from the office, fully remote , or a combination of both, we offer the flexibility to choose what suits you best!

Your responsibilities:

• Autonomously design, develop and execute tests

• Communicate with other departments on tasks

• Write technical documentation

• Register work items in a bug tracking system

• Follow quality assurance practices

• Carry out maintenance of the test environment

• Work with development and support teams to reproduce and debug complex issues

Key requirements:

• Internship or completed software testing courses

• Higher technical education or degree in Economics/Logistics

• Knowledge of the bug/task tracking methodology (for example JIRA, TFS, VSTS)

• Knowledge of software testing methodology and documentation principles: test cases, test plans, test scenarios, etc.

• Understanding of the basic principles of working with database management systems (such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server)

• Understanding of automated software testing

• Analytical skills

• Attention to details

• Strong desire for quality

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Upper Intermediate level of English (both speaking & writing)

It would be a plus if you have:

• At least 6 months of practical experience

• A technical and/or programming background (XML, .NET, UML, VB, C#, etc.)

• Experience of working with ERP, CRM or SCM systems
