Junior QA Automation Engineer in Frontco

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Junior QA Automation Engineer to participate in the development of our new project, which is characterized by an interesting idea and is in the initial stage.

English level: Intermediate

Work schedule: 9.00-18.00 ( 10.00-19.00 )

Place of work: remote

Candidates considered: no work experience

Salary: $400/month.

Requirements
1. It is possible without work experience
2. Ability to write test cases and other test documentation
3. Experience with test management tools (Zephyr, TestRail, etc.) and bug tracking systems (Jira)
4. Attention to detail
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
6. The ability to competently describe a bug report and manage the life cycle of a bug
7. Knowledge of software testing theory
8. Understanding test development methods
9. Knowledge of JavaScript sufficient to write automated tests
10. Experience with one of the following tools: Selenium, Selenide, Playwright
11. Basic knowledge of SQL
12. Web testing experience with good knowledge of Chrome DevTools
13. Familiarity with the Git version control system
14. Experience with RestAssured or similar API testing tools preferred
15. Knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of client-server application architecture
16. The ability to work in multitasking mode
17. Ability to self-educate using the Internet or books
18. The ability to dive deeply into mistakes, to get to the root cause
19. English at an intermediate level or above
20. Solid understanding of client-server model, HTTP basics, as well as JSON, XML
 

Responsibilities
1. Conduct UI/UX, functional and regression testing
2. Develop detailed test cases
3. Prepare comprehensive test reports
4. Document and log software errors
5. Not just to find bugs, but with the help of logs, debugging and external manifestations to find out the causes of these bugs
6. Prepare checklists, test cases, test plans
7. Perform manual testing of web applications
8. Develop new automated tests9. Create team documentation and update existing
 

Would be a plus
1. Financial experience, Google Analytics, e-commerce experience
2. Ability to learn to work with the automation framework and write autotests
3. Experience in analysis, review and testing of product requirements (business requirements, technical requirements, GDD);
4. Knowledge of Cypress
5. Databases
