Junior PHP Developer (Symfony) in Corefy

We, Corefy - a food, PayTech IT company founded in 2016. Our made in Ukraine SaaS platform is a technological hub for orchestrating online payments.

We cooperate with well-known payment providers and partners, including Stripe, Google Pay, Apple Pay, MasterCard, Visa , AWS and others. We have customers all over the world and have implemented more than 400 different payment methods.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and talented Junior PHP Developer to join us in implementing interesting and complex solutions.

Your future team already includes: Team Lead and 4 Backend Developers, QA, Business Analyst and Project Manager.  

Technologies we use:PHP 8.1, Symfony 5-6, PostgreSQL, PHPUnit 9, Kafka, Kibana, Sentry, Redis, Elasticsearch, React Admin, API platform, AWS (SQS), Docker, IDE - PhpStorm.

Experience and skills are important to us if you:

• Have 2+ years of commercial experience with PHP 7.3 and above;

• 1+ years of experience with Symfony (5/6) and PostgreSQL/MySQL;< /p>

• Developed REST web services (HTTP) and worked with APIs;

• Wrote Unit tests, using PHPunit;

• p>

• You have experience with Docker;

• You understand GIT, SDLC, CI/CD (GitLab);

• You have a deep understanding of OOP, the principles of SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, KISS, GoF;

• You know development methodologies (Agile Scrum/Kanban);

• Capable of in-depth analysis and identifying cause-and-effect relationships;

• Proactive, striving for continuous development and cooperation with the team.

Experience will be a plus:

• with ELK stack, Fluentd, Sentry, Victoria Metrics, Grafana;

• with SQS, Kafka, Redis;

• in Fintech projects.

Your future challenges:

• Analysis and writing of integrations with providers, updates, bug-fixing;< /p>

• Writing quality code and improving the codebase;

• Optimizing code and writing tools;

Conducting code reviews.
