Junior Operations Specialist in Genesis

We, the Genesis Education Department, are looking for a Junior Operations Specialist.

You will work at the interface of the operations and product work: you will optimize processes within the team, work on the development of internal products and implement new operational and product solutions for the development of the company's educational projects.

Our team develops several areas:

• External education - educational projects Genesis Academy and Genesis for Universities: all-Ukrainian programs and partnership initiatives.
• Internal training — corporate learning system for Genesis employees: internal courses, professional communities, mentoring programs, hackathons and other development formats.

So that all these areas work as a single ecosystem, in the education department has an Infrastructure Team - a cross-functional team that covers the areas of marketing, design, analytics, development and operations management. We plan and launch technical and creative solutions, build processes and a data-driven approach to work and ensure effective interaction between all educational areas.

Your manager will be Dana, who has been working in the education team for over four years.

In the position of Education Operations Specialist you will:

• Build and optimize operational processes for educational areas: spot "bottlenecks" and transform chaotic routine into understandable processes.
• Develop the internal products of the team: conduct product research, collect feedback, propose improvements and monitor the stable operation of systems.
• Implement automations and new tools: test and launch tools that reduce manual work (no-code/low-code solutions, integrations, templates) and help the team scale educational products and projects faster.
• Maintain transparency and manageability of processes: maintain internal documentation, prepare instructions, update knowledge bases, control budgets, etc.
• Help coordinate work between different teams and launch and support educational projects in the company.

We will definitely find a common language if you:

• You have more than one year of experience coordinating educational, technical or operational projects (courses, schools, events, etc.).
• You understand the basic principles of product IT and digital products: how features, releases, metrics, hypotheses work.
• You confidently communicate (verbally and in writing) with various stakeholders: you know how to negotiate, manage expectations, etc.
• You have a basic understanding of EdTech products, LMS, automation tools and modern educational formats (online courses, micro-learning, blended learning, etc.).
• You can quickly organize both routine and atypical educational processes "from scratch".
• You can easily keep focus in a multitasking environment: structure information, prioritize tasks, develop step-by-step plans.
• You feel initiative, analytical and strategic thinking, a creative approach to solving problems are your strengths.
• You speak English at the B1+ level.

It will be an advantage if you have:

• EdTech work or training experience (online schools, university programs, corporate training).
• Experience of project activity among young peoplepublic or public organizations: launching educational programs, events, volunteer initiatives.
• Operational management experience in areas related to IT (marketing, service companies, production, events, etc.).
