Junior/Middle QA Engineer (Device) in Ajax Systems

Ajax Systems is a developer and manufacturer of Ajax security systems with smart home capabilities. These are more than 130 devices, mobile and desktop applications, server infrastructure. The Ajax line includes control centers with its own RTOS (OS Malevich), motion, opening, flood protection and fire sensors, street and home sirens, alarm button with device control function, smart sockets and relays. Every year we demonstrate a multiple growth as in the size of the team, as well as in the number of users worldwide. The production of Ajax Systems includes two plants located in Ukraine. We also have four R&D offices: in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv and Vinnytsia. There are local sales teams in Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Norway, Romania, Turkey, UAE and South Africa. Ajax sensors protect more than 2 million users in 169 countries of the world. We need a person in the device quality assurance team in Kyiv. Main tasks: To improve the quality of our hardware products. To analyze the requirements for testing devices, functionality of programs and test benches. Preparation of checklists, test cases, test plans. Not just to find bugs, but to find out with the help of logs, debugging and external manifestations the causes of these bugs. Conduct research on the operation of devices and programs. What we are looking for in a candidate: Basic knowledge of electronics, physics, and circuit engineering. Knowledge and understanding of testing theory. Documentation: compilation of test cases, user scenarios, checklists. Ability to correctly describe a bug report and lead the life cycle of a bug.
