Smart Tek Solutions is a leading IT service provider serving Fortune 500 companies in the US. Our goal is to become a leading employer in Europe, and we are now looking for a talented and experienced Junior/Middle Odoo Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

— Develop new modules into the Odoo ERP on one project;

— End to End implementation of the Odoo ERP system as per the business needs;

— Customize and maintain existing modules of the Odoo ERP on one project;

— Working with the existing Odoo team.

Requirements:

— Solid experience with ERP/Odoo;

— Good programming skills;

— Good problem-solving and debugging skills;

— Clear-cut understanding of object-oriented programming concepts;

— Ability to create new modules;

— Ability to customize existing core modules and add/remove additional features in it;

— Must have the ability to write/create/implement complex business logic in the backend;

— Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies and the ability to integrate new things within Odoo;

— Ability and flexibility in learning new things and delivering productive work on them;

— Must have sound knowledge of Odoo MVC architecture;

— Shall have worked in and have Good functional knowledge of business concepts like Inventory, eCommerce, Manufacturing, Accounting, CRM, Purchasing, Sales, Barcode, Human resources, and Financial reporting;

— Must have strong technical & functional knowledge of Odoo core modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, Qweb Reporting, Barcode, e-commerce, and Marketing Automation;

— Should have knowledge of Odoo installation;

— Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills;

— Extensive knowledge and understanding of Business processes & System architecture;

— Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions;

— Sound knowledge of version control system tools like git and its tools available in the market, such as handling Docker, Github, and Bitbucket;

— Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot, debug and support complex Odoo customizations, integrating Odoo with third-party REST API;

— Should have knowledge of Database tuning to achieve high performance;

— Willing to learn, operate and progress in the domain areas that are outside previous job experience.

Will be a plus:

— Analytic skills;

— Experience in writing unit testing and test case automation;

— Knowledge of Odoo. sh;

— Demonstrated experience in the development of Technical/Functional documentation;

— Knowledge of the Odoo UI JS framework.
