Junior/Middle Legal Specialist in SPACE IT Sp. z o.o.

We are looking for a Junior/Middle Legal Specialist with an initial level of experience and a willingness to grow expertise in Compliance and AML.

Main tasks:

• Cooperation with company departments to ensure comprehensive compliance with the law,
• Consulting company managers and executives on current legal issues,
• Сreation of drafts, reviews, and revise legal documents, letters, agreements, and contracts,
• Monitoring and analysis of changes in legislation and regulatory acts related to Compliance and AML,
• Preparation of documents and reports for regulatory authorities regarding transactions,
• Monitor transactions and account activities for suspicious behavior or potential money laundering activities. Conduct investigations into flagged transactions, document findings, and escalate issues as necessary (under expert supervision),
• Take part in the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation, including customer profiles, risk assessments, and audit records.

What is needed to join us:

• Higher education (legal, economics/finance),
• Work experience of at least 2 years,
• Knowledge of local and international legislation,
• Understanding of legislation and current norms of financial law,
• Analytical and communication skills,
• Ability to work independently and in a team,
• High level of responsibility and attention to detail,
• Fluent in Polish and English (both spoken and written communication),
• Proficiency in Ukrainian would be a plus,
• Experience in the banking system or financial companies in the relevant field would be a plus.
