In our team, we need a technically savvy Manual QA&QCSpecialist who pays attention to the smallest details and knows how to communicate with all participants in the development process so that cooperation is effective. This vacancy is for a person who is able to control his work process and is responsible for ensuring the quality of the finished solution: in view of a well-functioning RESTful API; in view of well-functioning WEB interfaces; in view of well-functioning mobile applications for iOS and Android; in view of correct and complete data on a DB level; in view of a well-functioning server part, including integration with external services - we expect the ability to work with databases, databases, check settings and integration with third-party services, since often the problem can be outside the boundaries of our product. Of course, no one expects that from the very first day you will be able to join a complex project and immediately check a complex product, and provide support to large customers. We throw the juniors into the "input" of the project, hoping that they will somehow "swim out" by themselves. On the contrary, a mentor will be appointed from the very beginning who will "introduce everything" and support you at all stages of the work. By the way, not only the mentor will help you - you can always count on the support of other team members (this is part of our internal culture). Also, on a regular basis, we conduct a review of the work done work. At the same time, there is no pointless micromanagement and automatic time trackers in us: what is important is the result of the employee’s work, minute-by-minute control of the employee. In general, we are normal and adequate (still, perhaps, modest, but definitely :) ) How do we work? We work in teams of 3-5-8 people, by Scrum technology: depending on the project, it is 1-2 QA & Support, 1-2 backend developers, 1-2 frontend/ back front, 1-2 iOS, 1-2 Android, Scrum Master/ Project Manager. At the same time, each team member has a chance to influence the project in general, to offer their solutions. There are no situations in which everyone says: "Let's do this and only this." It's just the opposite—for each project, we try to choose exactly those technological solutions that will best contribute to the solution of a specific problem. By the way, a number of our projects ended up using technologies proposed by juniors. There are also teams for review and exchange of experience in each technological direction: QA&QC, backend (PHP), Angular/ React, iOS, Android. What projects do we work on? All the products we create bring real business benefits to our customers. A few examples of our projects: Creation for the largest cruise company, the electronic check-in system, which made it possible to reduce the time of passenger registration when boarding the liner by 5 times. Digitization of the key business processes of the legal company, as a result of which it was possible to reduce by 95% the time spent by highly qualified staff working with clients. Creation of a program that helps to select spare parts forget about any available catalogs of different manufacturers for a specific car model. The program's users are both auto mechanics and end customers (car owners). The built-in scanner recognizes the VIN code and displays all spare parts compatible with the carastins (both original and analogues). The result is a reduction in the time of selecting auto parts from 10-40 minutes to 10 seconds. Formation of a merchandising control system for retail chains. The smartphone camera captures the product on the street, it is automatically recognized and compared with the planogram (a diagram of the ideal layout of a specific type of product). Now, instead of merchandising specialists, display control can be carried out by any low-skilled employee with an application installed on a smartphone. The ibekend application for a smart soap dispenser, for cleaning services of enterprises and business centers is our small contribution to environmental protection, which helps to use 2-3 times less detergents twice the cost of transporting containers by sea. What approaches/technologies do we use? We test the WEB part of our products. We test mobile applications (if such components are present in the project). We test REST APIs, so it is worth knowing API testing tools, and be able to use Swagger and Postman. We work with Jira tags, create and work with test documentation: test plans, test cases, checklists. testing management system allows to develop a systematic approach to processes. We use TestRail. To perform these tasks, you need: To have an understanding of client-server architecture. Basic knowledge of SQL for writing database queries. To know what REST API, SOAP protocol is, how they differ. To have English at an Intermediate level. Work format The entire team works remotely. All services required for work and participation in all processes are available remotely. If you are living in Lviv, you can visit the office. The probationary period is 3 months, review is monthly. The main purpose of the trial period is to understand whether we are suitable for each other. We strive to not simply "close a vacancy", to understand whether you will be comfortable working in our team on other projects and vice versa. During the trial period, you will have time to familiarize yourself with 1-2 products, work as a mentor to your team, get to know our team - understand who we are and what we do. The main goal of this procedure is to understand , we are ready to "play together for a long time" - just as we are used to working together as colleagues. What usually happens after you send us your resume? Our recruiter reviews your resume for suitability for the actual vacancy. If everything is OK, we will arrange a time for the interview. The recruiter will conduct a short interview during which he will ask basic questions that will help you better prepare for the basic technical interview. Plus, we compare our expectations from each other. A technical interview by knowledgeable specialists will help to better understand your current level, to discuss in more detail your work experience, and the tasks to be performed by us. If you pass the technical interview, the last stage is a test task. Based on the results of the completed task, we make a final decision.
