About the project you will work with

b>

The Ajax Systems company creates not only security systems and smart home devices, but also its software. Therefore, Ajax applications for mobile (IOS and Android) and desktop (MacOS and Windows) platforms were created to configure and work with the Ajax system. The Ajax app is designed to help our users configure and manage their security system on their own. With its help, users can connect the system, configure it in a way that is convenient for them, as well as manage the state of the system. The PRO version of the mobile application and the PRO Desktop application allow security companies to install and configure the system. They include the functions of a regular application and aim to facilitate the work of security companies. The Fibra team is engaged in the development of innovative solutions for customers. We are adding support for both wired and wireless Ajax devices to the system. In Ajax applications for IOS and Android, we provide users with the ability to easily connect and configure the system, as well as connect to security companies for further monitoring and maintenance. In Ajax PRO and PRO Desktop, we create and support functionality for quick installation and configuration of new objects by companies. The functionality of our applications is used by users all over the world, so the QA team must guarantee their correct and stable operation under any conditions.

To achieve the set goals, we, the QA team, must delve into the structure of the system at all its levels - from the action performed by the device to its display on the GUI of the application. We test not only the GUI, but also the API.  We analyze requirements and technical documentation for new developments and functionality, starting testing at the early stages of development. We interact with our beta testers and receive feedback and inquiries from end users through the technical support department. We conduct research into incorrect system behavior with the help of logs, external manifestations, and identify cause-and-effect relationships.
