Junior Manual QA Engineer (Device) in Ajax Systems

We, Ajax Systems, create security systems and smart home devices. We want to make every home safe and reliable, and alarms to be technological, stylish and easy to use. We believe in the Internet of Things and smart security as its foundation.

Ajax is a full-cycle company: from idea generation and R&D to mass production and sales. We do everything: we develop and manufacture sensors, control units, write firmware for them, develop the server part and release mobile applications.

We need a person in the device quality assurance team in Kyiv.

Main tasks:

• Improve the quality of our hardware products
• Analyze software requirements for testing devices, functionality and test stands.
• Preparation of checklists, test cases, test plans.
• Not just to find bugs, but with the help of logs, debugging and external manifestations to find out the causes of these bugs.
• Conduct research into the operation of devices and programs.

Necessary skills:

• Basic knowledge of electronics, physics and circuit techniques.
• Knowledge and understanding of testing theory.
• Documentation: compilation of test cases, user scenarios, checklists.
• Ability to competently describe a bug report and manage the life cycle of a bug.
• Technical education.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in hardware testing projects.
