Junior Manual QA (Desktop) in Ajax Systems

R&D is responsible for device development at Ajax, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA.

Security systems have increased requirements for reliability and stability of operation. That is why the QA Department at Ajax Systems supports the product both at the development stage and during the production and further development process. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a clicker team, this is creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce difficult weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and floods.

We are looking for a new player for the QA Department.

Required knowledge and skills:

• excellent knowledge of testing theory;
• knowledge of techniques test design;
• basic knowledge of DB;
• knowledge of SDLC;
• knowledge of client-server architecture;
• basic knowledge of Windows/MacOS /Linux;
• good analytical skills;
• good level of self-organization.

Will be a plus:

• understanding of number systems;
• experience working with logs;
• experience working with Kibana;
• basic knowledge of Python;
• li>experience with JIRA, Confluence, Testrail;
• experience with Git and Jenkins

Tasks:

• testing Desktop Application (Windows/MacOS);
• find the problem not only in Desktop Application, but also in other parts of the system (Server, Mobile App, RTOS);
• UI/ UX testing;
• work with QA Tools (MoсkServer, emulators);
• participation in analysis and updating of documentation;
• test estimation;
• interaction with other team members and departments (developers, designers, business analysts);
• interaction with Beta Test participants and the Support team;
• work with Git and Jenkins
