Junior Manual QA (Backend) in Ajax Systems

Ajax Systems is a developer and manufacturer of Ajax security systems with smart home capabilities. These are more than 130 devices, mobile and desktop applications, server infrastructure. The Ajax line includes control centers with its own RTOS (OS Malevich), motion, opening, flood protection and fire sensors, street and home sirens, alarm button with device control function, smart sockets and relays. In 2023, we transformed the Ajax system . Its center is not the hub, but the space. A space is a virtual environment for adding devices (surveillance cameras, security and automation devices) and managing them. The space concept makes it possible to flexibly assemble the configuration of the Ajax system required by the client. The user-friendly application actually contains complex logic and many dependencies. Necessary skills: - Experience in the position of Manual QA backend; - Thorough knowledge of client-server architecture; - Knowledge of monolithic and microservice architecture; - Knowledge of API and its testing methods; - Knowledge of SQL/ NoSQL (MongoDB); - Root cause analysis (RCA) of bugs in logs, logging system (Kibana); - Ability to qualitatively analyze requirements (static testing) and decompose them into test documentation. Tasks: - Work with various protocols: low-level binaries, API and the gRPC framework; - Support programmers during development; - Be responsible for a separate part of the project. It will be a plus: - Understanding of metrics and experience with DataDog, Grafana; - Performance testing (own scripts, Jmeter and others); - Experience with Docker , AWS; - Understanding of embedded systems.
