Junior Localization Specialist in SKELAR

SKELAR is a venture builder that builds international product IT companies according to the rules of the venture investment world. Together with the co-founders, we gather strong teams to launch product IT businesses and win in global markets.

We are currently looking for a Localization Manager for the business PawChamp.

We create a mobile app and online platform to help train their pets and get more knowledge about care and training. We provide users with personalized daily lessons covering all aspects of dog training, from basic commands to solving behavioral problems. Our strategic goal is to become the leader in the global online dog training market.

As of now, we have 6 locations on our product, but we plan to grow rapidly and enter the following markets.

What challenges await:

We are actively growing and looking for a second Localization Manager in our team You will be a part of the product team and will work on projects with localization of marketing materials, web funnels, content on the web platform and in the mobile application in different languages and on the release of our product to new targets markets. You will:

• Work closely with content, video and marketing teams on product localization.
• Organize and manage localization processes of marketing materials and content for new markets and for existing locales.
• Control the quality of translations using modern tools, organize proofreading content and marketing materials, monitor text compliance with the glossary and Style Guide.
• Set tasks to freelancers and monitor timely completion, expand the base of performers.
• Ensure timely addition of localized content to the product and marketing materials.
• Work on iterative improvement and acceleration of localization processes with the application of AI, technology and automation.

What is important to us:

• English at the C1+ level.
• Interest in dog training and care by animals.
• Experience as a Localization Manager or similar relevant experience in localizationtranslation, editing.
• Quick learning and desire for growth.
• 
  
  • Excellent communication skills and turnkey localization project management experience.
  • Understanding the specifics of localization for different markets, the influence of cultural factors, language characteristics of different groups.
  • Editing skills, understanding the structure text.
  • Basic skills of working with AI tools and using artificial intelligence at work.
  • Experience of working with localization tools such as CrowdIn, Lokalise, etc.
