Junior Java Engineer

To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience. We’re looking for a Software engineer who can demonstrate the ability to engage in R&D tasks with a strong emphasis on innovation and problem-solving.

Project tech stack:

— Backend: Microservice-based architecture, Java 17, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL

— Frontend: TypeScript, React, Webpack

— CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes (K8s), ArgoCD, Terraform

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging;
• Write clean code to develop functional services;
• Troubleshoot and debug applications;
• Address technical and design requirements;
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use;
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and system administrators to deliver new features;
• Follow emerging technologies.

Qualification and skill set

• 1+ years of experience in software development.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles
• Knowledge of Java 8+ features
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Data, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.)
• Experience with Version control system (Git, etc.)
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience in unit testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito, etc.)
• Intermediate+ English level

Would be a plus

• Degree in computer science, coding, or a related field.
