Junior Java Developer in Ajax Systems

We, Ajax Systems, create security systems and smart home devices. We want every house to become safe and reliable, and alarms to be technological, stylish and easy to use. We believe in the Internet of Things and smart security as its foundation. Ajax is a full-cycle company from idea generation and R&D to mass production and sales. We do everything: we produce physical devices (the system includes many different sensors and hubs), write firmware for them, develop the server part and release mobile applications. All technical and product decisions are made locally. The server part is a part of our product that is invisible to the end user, but critical for the life of the entire system. We are constantly developing our internal systems and increasing the functional toolkit. For this purpose, we are looking for a Junior Java Developer. What you need to know and be able to: Successfully apply Java in practice; Higher education in the field of software engineering, information technology; Basic knowledge of SQL; Ability to self-study; Knowledge of computer terminology; Knowledge in the field of Computer Science plus: Desire to understand functional and reactive programming; Gain skills in creating a quality API for the frontend; Skills in working with one of the message brokers (Kafka, NATS); Skills with AWS and understanding the principles of cloud development; Skills in any key-value storage; Knowledge of document-oriented DBMS (MongoDb, Elasticsearch); Willingness to write in Kotlin What should be done: Create code that is pleasant to read and maintain; Harmoniously interact in a technical culture with tests, CD and devops; Take an active part in the development and improvement of the architecture; Develop services for our line of b2b and b2c products; Actively learn and develop.
