What the role is about

The Financial Specialist will be responsible for managing harvest data, updating product processing information, performing inventory audits, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This role involves close collaboration with team members to ensure data integrity and efficient operations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Inventory Management:

  • Enter harvest data into the system accurately.
  • Control and update the location of boxes.
  • Update information on product processing during three stages (buck, trim, s&B).
  • Gather and update information on product processing results (%) to estimate remaining inventory in storage.
  • Track all final products received after processing.
  • Perform periodic audits of the inventory to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the team on data-related matters, including receiving data, conducting audits, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and provide one-time reports as requested by the owner or team members.

 

QuickBooks and Accounting:

  • Reconcile bank statements in QuickBooks.
  • Prepare and submit a monthly report on bank reconciliation.
  • Send monthly invoices to clients.
  • Submit TOT (Transaction Overview Tool) reports every quarter.
  • Prepare and provide one-time financial reports as requested by the owner.

 

Payroll (Depending on Performance and Workload):

  • Enter data from timecards.
  • Enter trim data accurately.
  • Match all timecard punches to deals.
  • Prepare payroll information to be printed and distributed to team members.
  • Collaborate with the team on payroll-related matters.
     

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in Accounting or any related field
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and resolve discrepancies
  • Experience with payroll processing is a plus
  • English B2
