Within the Strategy and Deals practice, the Transaction Diligence team provides services to clients including investment funds, multinational and national corporations, as well as international financial organizations in the process of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). 

Although financial due diligence is a central element of the value proposition of the Deal Support team, team representatives are also involved in evaluating the business plans of potential objects for investment, analytical support in the process of assessing the attractiveness of potential investments, negotiations and preparation of documentation for closing M&A deals.

Responsibilities

As a junior analyst in the Transaction Diligence team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following tasks:

• Analysis of operational and financial information of potential objects for investment.
• High-level analysis of legal documents of potential objects for investment
• Participation in interviews yu with representatives of potential investment properties, including senior management
• Working in a team with distributed responsibility, communicating and keeping senior team members informed of progress.

Requirements

• 3-5 year student or recent graduate of the Faculty of Finance/Economics
• Basic knowledge of accounting
• English proficiency level - B2 and above
• In-depth knowledge of office applications: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word (knowledge of Alteryx and PowerBI will be a plus)
• Excellent analytical skillsand strong communication skills
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be a plus
• Up to one year of experience in financial audit will be an advantage.
