We seek a talented Junior DevOps Engineer with a foundational understanding of AWS to join our dynamic team. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will be able to help design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with our development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and optimal performance of our applications. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Cloud Infrastructure Design: Help design and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS under the guidance of senior engineers. Support CI/CD Processes: Aid in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process. Monitoring and Logging: Help set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions using tools like AWS CloudWatch and other similar tools. Security Practices: Assist in implementing security measures for cloud infrastructure, including IAM roles and security groups. Performance Monitoring: Supports monitoring and analyzing the performance of cloud-based applications and services. Automation Support: Assist in automating infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Collaborative Support: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and support application deployment and management. Qualifications: Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Junior DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS and automation of infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) tools like Terraform Skills: Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, ECS, ECR, RDS, and VPC, NAT Gateways, API Gateways (REST / HTTP API's specifically), Amazon MQ Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Fundamental understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices. Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch. Soft Skills: Good problem-solving skills. Strong communication abilities. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Certifications: AWS certifications are a plus but not mandatory
