Required skills and qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Basic knowledge of Linux systems and commands.

• Understanding of containerization with Docker and Docker-compose.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.

• Basic understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible.

• Experience with AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Elasticache, EKS).

• Familiarity with Azure services (VM, VMSS, AKS, Database for MySQL, Redis Cache, CosmosDB, Azure Storage).

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI and Github Actions.

• Ability to write basic scripts in Python and Bash.

• Basic understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in the DevOps field.

• Intermediate+ English level.

As a plus

• Basic understanding of virtualized environments using Opennebula.

• Understanding of secrets management with Hashicorp Vault.

• Experience with any of the mentioned tools and frameworks in a professional or academic setting.

• Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or other related technologies.

• Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcasing relevant skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the management and maintenance of Linux-based systems.

• Develop and maintain Docker containers and Docker-compose configurations.

• Support Kubernetes cluster deployments and management.

• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) tasks.

• Automate configuration management using Ansible.

• Work with Gitlab and Gitlab CI for version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate using Github and Github Actions for project management and CI/CD.

• Manage virtualized environments using Opennebula.

• Support AWS services including IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Elasticache, and EKS.

• Support Azure services including VM, VMSS, AKS, Database for MySQL, Redis Cache, CosmosDB, and Azure Storage.

• Implement monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix.

• Write scripts in Python and Bash to automate tasks.

• Use Hashicorp Vault for secrets management.
