Junior Data Science Engineer

Students take a course of lectures on development using Data Science methods and the Microsoft Azure platform (machine learning), after which they are asked to solve several tasks. Based on the training results, SMART business provides successful candidates with a job offer.

Necessary skills :

• Higher technical education (3-6 year students or graduates)
• Programming and software development skills (Python experience)
• Basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics
• Good working skills with the structure and operations of relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL)
• Knowledge in the field of time series forecasting, statistical analysis, machine learning, deep learning, econometrics, word processing
• English at the Intermediate level and above
• Personal qualities : responsibility, sociability, initiative, diligence, ability to learn quickly, focus on results and teamwork

Will be an advantage :

• Commercial experience
• Participation in competitions on the Kaggle platform
• Participation in hackathons, internships, bootcamps and other competitions in the field of Data Science

Functional duties :

• Participation in the development of own product based on machine learning
• Development and implementation of generative artificial intelligence products
• Implementation of projects and solutions in the field of data processing with the help of expert consultants in the subject field
• Creation of a team, systems and practices that will allow SMART business to use advanced data mining and machine learning techniques
• Build, test and validate predictive models
• Collaborate with our software and data engineers as required
• Modify implemented solutions
• Reporting on work performed
