Role Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and a strong understanding of data pipelines. You will be working on a variety of projects, including building and maintaining data pipelines, developing data models, and conducting data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Apache Spark and Kafka
• Build and maintain data models
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver data-driven solutions
• Work with cloud platforms, primarily AWS, and potentially GCP or Azure

Requirements:

• Experience in data engineering;
• Strong programming skills in Python;
• Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka;
• Familiarity with AWS;
• GCP or Azure will be a plus;
• Experience with SQL and data warehousing;
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Conversation English level, enabling effective communication with clients and team members.
