Junior AQA (Java) Engineer Київ, Львів, Івано-Франківськ, віддалено Fintech project, the purpose ofwhich istocreate and maintain banking platforms. Users are bank employees, which isabout 10,000. The platforms are used toserve clients ofthe bank who would like toinvest their money inone ofCanada’s largest banks. Requirements: Proficiency inJava programming language. Experience inAPI testing using the RestAssured framework. Capability inconducting code reviews. Proficiency inmanual testing methodologies and adeptness intest documentation. Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles and experience with Jenkins. Previous exposure toAgile methodologies. Demonstrated eagerness tolearn and explore JavaScript and Node.js frameworks. Will beaplus: Prior experience with JavaScript, familiarity with Node.js frameworks, and proficiency inJavaScript orTypeScript. Experience incross-browser testing would beadvantageous. Responsibilities You will beworking onboth manual and automation work tosupport the quality ofthe project. This includes: Working onthe common sprint activities: Covering features assigned toyou with test cases, using the common test management too Testing new features after they pass the development phase Covering those features with automated tests Working onrelease activities(once every couple ofmonths): Releases may require additional support, including manual application regression, running regression test suites, analyzing the reports, and providing feedback tothe team. Possible night releases (not often). Itusually takes 2-3 hours max. Our team has acouple ofapplications developed and finished, but sometimes wedosmall updates/hotfixes for them. Those usually require change-related testing work, possibly full regression testing. Working onthe shape ofautomation test suites: Analyzing daily reports Locating possible issues intests/applications ontest failures Fixing test failures Following scrum procedures: Daily standups, refinement sessions, sprint planning, etc; What weoffer: Annual paid vacation of18working days.
