Junior analyst at KSE Institute in Kyiv School of Economics

Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) is a leading educational and research center that combines academic excellence with practical solutions for society and business.

KSE Institute is engaged in research of economic sectors, assessment of investment attractiveness and the impact of policies on the development of the country.
In connection with the expansion of the team, we are looking for a Junior Analyst who will help prepare research and create analytical materials. This is a role for those who want to quickly improve their analytical skills, feel the rhythm of the work of the research team and participate in real projects of the KSE Institute.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collection, processing and systematization of economic and financial data from open sources, state statistics, databases of international organizations and industry reports.

• Preparation of analytical reports, short reports and presentation materials for internal use and external communications, including for publications on KSE Institute platforms.

• Participation in the preparation of reviews of economic sectors and the investment environment of Ukraine, including checking analytical conclusions and structuring materials under the guidance of senior analysts.

• Supporting the preparation of financial models and forecast calculations, including preparation of raw data, verification of formulas and interpretation of intermediate results.

Basic requirements:

• Final year student or graduate in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics or related fields.

• Basic knowledge of economic and financial analysis, understanding of key macroeconomic and business indicators.

• Basic skills of working with MS Office.

• The level of English is not lower than Intermediate.

• Interest in topics of economic development and investments, willingness to deepen knowledge in these areas.

• Analytical and critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to work with large amounts of information.

• Initiative, responsibility and the ability to work in a team, the desire to develop professionally in the field of analytics.
