Junior Accountant in MacPaw

Today, MacPaw's focus is on empowering users, teams and developers with artificial intelligence. Eney by MacPaw - an intelligent AI assistant for Mac - changes the way you interact with your computer and accelerates the transition to the Software 3.0 era. Cybersecurity is a separate area of work for MacPaw: the company investigates new forms of malicious software and ensures reliable protection for users thanks to Moonlock, a new application for cybersecurity for Mac computers. who will help with daily accounting processes and monitor their accuracy. This is a role for someone who is comfortable working with documents, important to structure in their work, and pays attention to detail to make sure everything comes together. In this position, you will interact both with internal teams and with counterparties to ensure that processes work smoothly and without disruptions. This is a hybrid role in Kyiv: several days a week you need to work from the office.

Future duties:

• Work with original documents from suppliers (electronic and paper): check their correctness, collect missing ones, organize signatures, register and archive.
• Prepare and reconcile acts of reconciliation with counterparties according to internal instructions, record discrepancies and help with their closure.
• Maintain daily accounting operations in the system: work with documents and update data.
• Monitor electronic document management (EDO): monitor document statuses, check signatures and save final versions.
• Maintain and update registers: contracts, counterparties and availability of primary documents.
• Communicate with counterparties and internal teams: request documents, follow-up and clarify details.

Necessary skills:

• Understanding of primary accounting documentation and requirements for its preparation.
• Experience of working with accounting systems / ERP (for example, Odoo, SAP, MASTER, Debit Plus or similar).
• Work experience with electronic document management systems (Timely, SOTA, M.E.Doc or others).
• Attention to details and the habit of checking your work before completing a task.
• Ability to work with several tasks in parallel
• Ability to signal risks or blockers in advance.
• Ability to independently understand standard tasks and ask clarifying questions if something is unclear.
• Proficient in Google Workspace / MS Office, especially Excel or Google Sheets, and willingness to work with large volumes data.
• Experience in communication with counterparties or internal stakeholders (letters, inquiries, follow-ups).
• Intermediate English for basic communication.

Will be a plus:

• Understanding of electronic document flow.
• Experience with office equipment.
