JOURNALIST, AUTHOR OF TEXTS in KNSKA

The anti-crisis agency KNSKA has been working on the information and communication market of Ukraine for more than 11 years and provides a wide range of services - from information audit and development of communication strategies to anti-crisis communications, looking for a creative JOURNALIST, WRITER, who will strengthen our team. 

This is a full-time or part-time remote position.

Candidate requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in journalism, communications or related field;
• 2+ years of journalism experience at a leading news or print agency;
• Multimedia reporting experience, including photography and videography;
• Strong communication skills, excellent writing and editing skills;
• Hands-on MS Office experience, including MS Word and MS Excel;
• Excellent interviewing and fact-checking skills, attention to detail;
• Practical social media and digital marketing tools skills;
• Ability to work fast, with tight terms;
• Knowledge of media ethics and legal standards of journalism;
• Excellent writing skills, strong research skills, well-developed analytical skills.

Area of responsibility:

• Gathering and writing news or materials;
• Writing and editing materials for external communications;
• Writing articles based on notes taken, editing and submission material in an understandable style, often in a short time frame;
• Coverage of news and/or events in accordance with the mandate with a certain depth and analysis;
• Independent search for news, stories, information. Analysis of controversial materials, skillful presentation of ideas, preparation of relevant materials.
