JavaScript Game Developer in PlayWorks

Play.Works is the world’s largest Connected TV influencer VIdeo and Games Network designed to inspire. PlayWorks games and video channels can be found on all the leading Connected TV providers including: Comcast, AT&T, ROKU, Samsung, LG, Vizio, and Amazon. We are a UK-owned company with offices in London, Tel-Aviv and Kyiv.

We are looking for talented Game Developers to bring new ideas and help us create high quality casual games.
Successful candidates will develop modern game applications for Roku devices.
The position includes technical design, code authoring and bug fixing, based on functional and technical documentation and according to development plans, resulting in high quality on-time deliveries.
 

Main requirements:
— 3+ years of development experience
— Experience in development of casual games
— Solid knowledge of at least one of programming languages like JavaScript, C/C++, C#, etc...
— Readiness to learn and works with BrightScript
— Knowledge of OOP, Software Design Patterns and client/server architecture
— Experience in working with source control
— English Intermediate + (read, speak, write)
— BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
 

Advantage:
— Experience in back-end/server-side technologies: JavaScript/Typescript, Node.js
— Knowledge of BrightScript/SceneGraph (Roku), C/C++
— Experience in off-the-shelf game engine for various platforms
— Experience in performance analysis and code optimization
