UA-Teens
Ukrainian teenagers aged 12-16, who are taking their first steps in web development and currently live in Lviv, are in great need someone who will interest them in the field of programming, help them acquire the first skills in JavaScript, and will be able to explain complex information simply and interestingly!)
Main duties:
- Conduct offline web development sessions for teenagers at the UA-Teens Lviv office
- Check tasks, give feedback and comments
- Participate in team communications and improving the educational process
Requirements:
- JavaScript
- Node.js , more than 1 year of experience building server systems
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- HTML5, CSS3, understanding of web markup
- Git, thorough understanding of code version control tools
- React.js, AngularJS, Vue.js, experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks
- Experience in commercial projects 1+, portfolio
- Confident communication skills
- Teaching in Ukrainian
- Ability to convey programming skills simply and easily
- Interview (2 -3 stages)
Working conditions:
- Part-time (teaching 3-6-9 hours/week) , the schedule is agreed individually.
- Office work (conducting group classes in Lviv, st. Shevchenko, 120g) + remote checking of assignments and communication.
- On weekdays after 5:00 p.m. (with each group of students twice a week for 90 minutes), in the future - also on Saturdays.
- Educational the program and methodical materials are provided.
Important:
- All candidates undergo an onboarding period of several weeks before the start of teaching, including test session for teenagers.
