Java Developer/Team Leader in Power Media

The product portfolio includes digital solutions as well as integration platforms and corporate banking. They provide comprehensive and interactive functionalities for customers.

The software created by the company runs on web servers in the infrastructure or clouds of large or medium-sized European banks and is maintained by teams on the bank's side. The company, for its part, expands the code with functionalities ordered by banks and/or offers, as a result, extensive consultations and knowledge in the area of ​​corporate banking. The projects involve integrating the company's product suite with external systems operating in banks and building business logic that meets the broadly understood digitalization processes in banks. 

Position: Java Developer/Team Leader.

Office location: Warsaw.

Technology stack: Java 17, Spring, Sprnig Boot, Hibernate, Maven, TypeScript, React, Flutter, JSF (in one of the products), Gradle, Docker , Kubernetes, Jenkins, GIT, ELK (Elasticsearch + Logstash + Kibana), REST API.

Division of work: 80% development, 20% maintenance and bug fixing.

Working Environment:Ubuntu on mobile workstation, IntelliJ IDEA, 2 or 3 monitors, electric desk in office, laptop if needed.

Team: 1 Team Leader, 1 Tester, 6 Developers (mid/senior). 

• Over 5 years of commercial experience related to the IT industry, including:
  • Over 3 years of commercial experience as a Java Developer, working in a team,
  • Over 2 years of experience in leading teams in software development projects,
• Good knowledge of technologies/tools: Java, Spring, JavaScript/TypeScript, GIT, CI/CD,
• Knowledge of areas such as: web applications, security, databases, test automation (practical experience as a Developer in these areas will be an additional advantage),
• Very good knowledge of English (min. B2)< /b> - everyday work in an international environment,
• Higher education in Computer Science or a related field (at least Master's degree),
• The ability to integrate people and maintaining a friendly atmosphere to achieve agreed goals,
• Excellent communication skills, ability to convey concise status to management,
• Curiosity about how the delivered solutions perform both technically and functionally,
• A strong sense of responsibility, quality, goal orientation and attention to detail,
• Positive attitude to work, customer focus, problem-solving skills,
