Location — remote

A team consisting of 11 persons is looking for a confident Java developer to work on a long term project from the USA with many roles.

We have a small company, which ensures the absence of micromanagement, bureaucracy, and moreover gives everyone the opportunity to be heard.

This is a cloud-based b2b / b2c web application for coordination of Insurance agencies, Therapy providers, Patients and Lenders. We would like to add that the team on this project is very strong and consists of seniors, architects, 4 already existing Java developers and 2 Java Script developers. A project with complex logic and if you are interested in working with challenges, this is about it. Your experience in medical projects will be very relevant here.

Requirements:

— 6+ years of experience with Java,

— Ability to read, write and optimise SQL queries;

— Experience with Spring, Hibernate, AWS, Jenkins, Docker;

— Upper-Intermediate English

Will be a plus:

— Basic understanding of ReactJS

— Experience working with Production environment

Responsibility:

— Design and document system architecture

— Present and explain ideas and solutions to customers

— Collaborate with team members to scope and implement new features;

— Developing new user-facing features using Java;

— Writing a technically sound, clean, and useful code;
— Identify bugs, write tests, and propose improvements to maintain code quality standards;
— Collaboration with product management;

— Participation in team discussions and the process of the software product architecture design;
— Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
