Itisanonline television platform that provides users with access tohundreds ofthousands ofhours ofUkrainian and foreign content, live broadcasts ofprograms, and regularly offers exclusive pre-premiere shows ofprojects. Its advantage isthat users can watch content onfive different devices atonce— smartphones, tablets, laptops, SmartTV, orTVtuners. Asofearly April 2021, the platform had 262TV channels and aVOD library with 10,000 movies and series ofatotal duration ofmore than 50,000hours. Required skills: 3+years ofcommercial strong Java experience, Java 8+knowledge; understanding oftomcat servlet container. strong experience with Spring framework not SpringBoot, also (SpringBoot, Data, Security); strong experience with MongoDB, Redis. experience with search engines (Elasticsearch, Solr) experience with Docker (mandatory) and Kubernetes (advantage); experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS); strong knowledge ofSOLID/GRASP OOdesign principles; experience inCloud Computing Platforms (AWS/aws-sdk); experience inworking with distributed and high availability systems; strong experience inclean code technics, refactoring and testing. Responsibilities: analysis and data collection for further decision-making onoptimization ofcertain parts ofthe application сovering existing code with tests refactoring existing code/ refactoring modules migration from jersey servlet api tospring web api migration from Morphia toSpring Data migration from Scala toJava development ofnew functionality for the platform optimization ofcurrent functionality business requirements analysis and solution planning writing technical documentation/ working ondiagrams ofsystem components participation inthe design and optimization ofarchitectural solutions manual testing (dev-testing) toestablish that each element ofthe software meets the requirements and identifying defects.
