We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing new features and enhancing existing ones.
- Writing clean and extendable code for high-load microservices architecture.
- Take part in the full feature lifecycle — from challenging ideas to production support.
- Interaction with other team members (product owners, architects, developers, QA and data engineers) on your team and across the organization. Working with Agile methodology.
- Be able to make your own technical decisions, investigate new ideas, and analyze technical and business requirements.
- Fast learning of new tools and concepts
Must have:
- 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Core.
- Knowledge of core data structures and algorithms.
- Problem-solving mindset. Ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively. Clean communication.
- Understanding of core software engineering principles — OOP, SOLID, Design Patterns, Client-Server architecture, cloud, caching, REST.
- Real-world experience with databases (both relational and NoSQL), messaging systems, and microservices.
- Understanding of core multithreading concepts.
- Experience in writing all types of tests (unit, functional, integration, etc) and understanding where to use them.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle in the cloud (CI/CD).
- Troubleshooting skills. Experience with metrics, monitoring, incident management, and alerting systems.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Docker, Grafana, and Kubernetes.
- Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Feign, Hibernate, Quartz
- System design and refactoring.
- Deep knowledge of complex data structures, algorithms, and their complexity.
- Experience in debugging, profiling, and performance optimizations (java, database, and cloud).
- Real-world experience in production with Kafka and Aerospike.
