Location: Krakow, Poland

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• 5+ years of Java experience;
• Solid knowledge and experience with the following languages ​​and frameworks: Java 8+, Spring (Core, MVC, Data, Security, Cloud), Hibernate/Spring Data;
• Experience working with the following databases and repositories: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB, DB replicates;
• Experience with the following protocols, solutions and APIs: Java core, Java multithreading and concurrency, gson/jackson, Java Servlet API, FB, Twitter, G+ API, Payments API, AWS/Google cloud;
• Knowledge and experience of working with such approaches and principles: OOP, OOD, understanding of patterns, REST, MVC, DI, knowledge of algorithms, SQL, functional approaches, microservice architecture, Third party services integration, Kafka/Rabbit;
• Experience with the following technologies and tools: Maven/Gradle, IDE Java debug tools, Java profiler, GIT, Linux administration, Clustering experience, Nginx;
• Architecture: deep understanding of REST and SOAP, understanding of service-based infrastructure, including API gateways;
• Devops: experience with AWS/GPC/Azure, Docker;
• Frontend core (React/Angular/Vue or native JS/TS).

Knowledge of languages:

• English Upper - Intermediate and above.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in development strategy, focusing on areas such as cloud, API, SRE and digital platforms;
• Maintain high standards of code quality and data integrity, use best practices and continuously improve;
• Provide specialized technical expertise in DevOps and Agile practices;
• Promote initiatives aimed at increasing team productivity;
• Assist in identifying and resolving incidents related to IT services;
• To ensure the reliability and stability of services, to achieve the set goals for software solutions;
• Provide guidance on tools, technologies and relevant areas such as cyber security and regulatory requirements;
• Provide mentoring to team members as needed;
• Additionally: visiting the office in Krakow 4 times a week.
