The client offers comprehensive freight management services, including planning, execution, and monitoring of shipments. They manage various types of freight, including Less Than Truckload (LTL), Full Truckload (FTL), and small parcel shipments. The company is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, USA. You will be responsible for designing and developing Java-based carrier integrations with an internally developed API.Requirements3 years of experience in Java development.Understanding of designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patternsProfound insight into Java and JEE internals (class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.).Experience using Gradle for building, automating, and managing the dependencies of the Java applicationUnderstanding of Agile development methodology.Knowledge of Git source control.Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)Experience with test-driven development.Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).English level - Upper-Intermediate.ResponsibilitiesWritу well-designed, efficient, and testable code.Implement and integrate Open API (RESTful API, SOAP) services.Conduct software analysis, documenting, programming, testing, and debugging.Ensure code complies with code standards.Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.Take ownership of assigned tasks from start to release.We OfferUS and EU projects based on advanced technologies.Competitive compensation based on skills and experience.Annual performance appraisals.Flexibility in workspace, either remote or in one of our development offices.
