Java/Angular Full-Stack Engineer in SOLEAD Software

SOLEAD Software is looking for a senior Java Engineer to join our new project in building an innovative cloud based vendor management platform. The platform enables companies to automate the procurement and management of all external suppliers and services via a central hub. Based on a simple task definition by managers, the platforms’ workflows and algorithms do the main job to choose the right process, vendor or service.

The platform is to be built in Java, Angular and AWS technology stack according to MSA architecture. The distributed project team includes highly skilled professionals encouraged to contribute new ideas to product success. The agile development process is in use.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of AWS/Java based backend and Angular based frontend for the vendor management platform
• Participation in architecture definition based on current and future requirements
• Refactoring of already existing code to improve stability and performance
• Proposing ideas how to improve the product from various standpoints
• Participation in Agile process, team meetings, brainstorming, etc.

• Following project practices, conventions and standards

   

Skills and Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science, applied math, or similar
• 7+ years of experience in software development, 5+ years using Java and AWS platforms, 3+ years using Angular framework
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Solid experience with Spring programming framework
• HTML/CSS/JS programming skills, UI/UI design understanding
• SOA and MSA architecture expertise (nice to have)
• Agile process knowledge and practice
• B2+ English communication skills
• Work experience in distributed teams

This is a full-time long-term position in Lviv, Ukraine. We combine work in our modern and spacious office with work at home.
