IT Teacher in EveryMatrix LTD

NGO “Academy for Heroes” is looking for a IT Teacher in Lviv (onsite).

Company Intro: NGO “Academy for Heroes” mission is to empower the adult learners, especially veterans, with essential and advance IT skills to enhance their employability, foster career transitions, and facilitate their successful integration into the rapidly evolving technology-driven workforce. For this purpose, we organize complex trainings for veterans, upon successful completion of which they will be able to get a prestigious job in Ukraine in an IT company to ensure the wellbeing of their families.

NGO “Academy for Heroes” is seeking a dedicated and motivated IT Teacher for our office in Lviv. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in the field of IT and teaching IT courses for adults. It will be important to know the skills of forming educational programs, teaching for adults. Experience interacting with veterans will be an advantage.. The successful candidate will work in fast-paced, tight deadlines, highly rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Development of comprehensive educational programs in the field of IT for adult education.
• Teaching IT courses for veterans.
• Development of educational and methodological materials for teaching Work in an educational virtual environment.
• Participation in the selection of candidates for training, from among veterans Interaction in a small team to achieve a common goal.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and address challenges proactively.
• Engage in TA interactions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and professional representation of NGO “Academy for Heroes”.
• Communicate with Universities, regional government structures, other NGOs, veterans, teachers to ensure the realization of the project goals and mission of the NGO.
• Arrange the study process using modern educational tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification;
• at least one year of experience working in an IT company in technical positions;
• experience working with Google Drive, MS Teams, Jira, Postman, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, mysql, PostgreSQL, Db2;

• at least 1 year of teaching experience;
• knowledge of the English language at the B2 level;
• the ability to work in a team;
• skills of working in a virtual educational environment;
• possibility to work in the evening (training will mostly take place from 6 to 9 p.m.)

Work Life Balance:

22 paid leave days and two extra paid leave days per year for every year up to 32 days (working days) in addition to the public holidays (11 days).

Extra leave days for every extra year at the company — 43 days including public holidays by year 5 of employment. 10 sick leave days per year (without a doctor’s note).

Medical leave: up to 30 days per year, documented with a medical certificate.

To support women candidates, we offer 21 weeks of maternity leave and 100% work from home until the child’s first birthday for mothers.

Men receive 4 weeks of paternity leave and can work from home until the child is 13 weeks old.
